Curator Tour of Interweaving Poetic Code 4343
Deposit $50｜RSVP CHAT's Executive Director and Chief Curator Takahashi Mizuki will guide our visitors through CHAT’s Spring Programme 2021 exhibition, Interweaving Poetic Code . Takahashi will introduce how the artworks by Artistic Director Taeyoon Choi and other participating artists act upon the themes of code, textile and care, and share her thoughts and insights on the process of turning Gallery 2 into an Unlearning Space. Historically, flags were used in times of war and emergency as a communication protocol. Semaphores were then developed as a coding system and mode of communication in France in the 17th century.
