CHAT Highlights Tour

This tour covers both docent selected highlights of the current exhibitions – Welcome to the Spinning Factory! and Unfolding: Fabric of Our Life and other public art installations at CHAT.

Weekday Tour Schedule (Closed on Tuesdays):

1:30pm, 4:30pm (Cantonese)

Weekend Tour Schedule (except 7 Apr, 5 May and 2 Jun) *:

1:30pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm, 4:30pm (Cantonese)
3:30pm (English)
Duration of each tour: 30 minutes

On these 3 Sundays, the CHAT Highlights Tour would be extended to also include the CHERRY Draw Frame Demonstration. The CHERRY Draw Frame machine was donated by Tai Hing Cotton Mills Ltd., the last cotton-spinning mill in Hong Kong. It is a draw frame made in Japan in 1962 and constitutes an essential process in production and a witness to Hong Kong’s textile history.

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
