Repair Techniques with Kantha Stitching

Transform your old garments by using kantha, a traditional stitching technique originated in West Bengal that has been used to embellish textiles with decorative stitching for centuries. In this workshop, participants will learn kantha stitching to repair clothing, repurpose fabric scraps and add a personal touch to pre-loved garments.

-Register for both “Repair Techniques with Kantha Stitching” and ” Textures with Chikankari Embroidery” of the same day to enjoy a special discount price at $600
-Bring along lightweight, worn, torn or stained garments to refashion together
-All tools (embroidery needle, thread, hoop and scissors) included
-Suitable for participants aged 8 or above; participants aged 8-12 must be supervised by an adult participant

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
