Saturday School – Warp and Weft of Life
How do clothmakers and their cloths embrace life? Kabir was a 15th century mystic poet and weaver who contemplated on the tapestry of life while earning his livelihood by weaving. For this presentation, we have invited Bindhu Malini Narayanaswamy, an Indian singer and composer based in Bangalore, to perform songs inspired by Kabir and other poets, and also talk about the two main Indian classical music forms.
