Riwanua Riwanua is an initiative based in Makassar. Conceived by activists, scholars and art and cultural practitioners, this endeavour is dedicated to generating and disseminating experience and knowledge through a myriad of avenues: employing interdisciplinary methodologies, fostering dialogue and discourse, conducting thorough research and enquiry, showcasing artistic works and hosting residencies. Riwanua’s undertakings and initiatives draw inspiration from the crossroads of societal, economic and political dimensions within South Sulawesi’s intricate tapestry, resonating across Indonesia and its entwined relationship with the global sphere.
