Participants will learn about weaving starting with cotton processing, which includes deseeding, carding, combing, spinning and finally, weaving. Participants will learn to weave using natural materials, traditional techniques and tools like the spinning wheel and the spindle. Combining the handspun cotton yarn with other coloured yarns, participants will use the hand loom to create their own special homeware decorations.

Krac-A-Dawna Organic Farm has been working with local collaborators in the planning and organisation of the above workshop.
