CHAT AiR aims to offer international artists the opportunity to engage in Hong Kong’s textile history and culture and support their creative processes.

Inspiration from Hong Kong

Launched in December 2015, the residency artists are encouraged to achieve artistic development through collaborations with locals, artist talks and workshops, fostering cross-cultural exchanges of ideas and innovations. By drawing inspirations from local elements, artists are invited to create artworks, which will be presented in exhibitions hosted by CHAT and other international art institutions.
