Seed to Textile 2025: Seeders’ Woven Harmonies
Free | Walk-in
Let’s celebrate the finale of Seed to Textile 2025, featuring memorable music, co-created art and lasting friendships!
In this edition of CHAT’s flagship community programme, Hong Kong artist Sara Tse led a series of co-creative activities surrounding her demolished alma mater. Tse and Seeders – comprising multi-generational alumni and public participants – worked together to reinterpret the intertwined experiences of nature, textiles and people.
Their year-long journey culminates in this performance, where 40 Seeders will sing classic songs about friendship, accompanied by Hong Kong musician Bethia Kong on piano. Seeders will wear scarves that are dyed using homegrown plants and embroidered by 2,300 visitors to CHAT. Set against a large installation of woven branches, ceramic art and floor rubbings, the performance invites everyone to join a celebration of cherished bonds and imagination.
No reservation is required.
