Embroidered Echoes: Artist-Led Workshop
What if the clothes we wear could speak? What would they remember – a scent, a moment, or a feeling?
In this workshop, we invite you to reconnect with a personally meaningful piece of clothing or fabric in guided sensory exercises involving touch, smell and blindfolded reflection. Through drawing and embroidery, these memories will be transformed into stitched motifs – small, intimate emblems of personal stories.
The experiential workshop will be led by artist and fashion designer Widi Asari, with support from the ‘Young Artist-in-Residence@V54’ project of Po Leung Kuk.
Experience level: No prior experience is needed
Materials: Please bring one personally meaningful piece of clothing or fabric. All other tools and materials will be provided.
Language: Bahasa Indonesian with informal English interpretation
