Thread Goes Where Pencil Falls Short – Narrative Embroidery with Eva Volfová
Come and explore the endless storytelling possibilities of embroidery! In this playful workshop, you will discover that thread and needle can be even more expressive than pencil.
Czech artist and illustrator Eva Volfová will join us online and take us through the narrative power of embroidery. You will make use of a fabric printed with the artist’s illustration and craft your own tale with thread and needle – whether by designing the most colourful and extravagant hairstyle, dressing up the characters, feeding the crocodile, or adding yourself and your loved ones into the story. At the end of the workshop, you can take home a record of your unique adventure in the form of a tote bag, sharing the imaginative journey with family and friends!
