A workshop with Shan refugees near the Thai-Myanmar border

Special Display: CHAT at The Mills

This season, you are invited to join ‘There’s no Place’ at The Hall of The Mills. A collaborative ‘call-and-response’ embroidery project by Jakkai Siributr, it seeks to create an ongoing dialogue between the stateless community of the Shan tribe in Northern Thailand and the general public. Visitors are invited to add their embroidery onto pieces previously made by children of the tribe, as an emphatic response and connection.

Special Display is part of Winter Programme 2023 Jakkai Siributr: Everybody Wanna Be Happy.

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
