Speculative Collective: Mapping Space Through Memory
What if we could map a city through memories instead of streets?
In this collaborative workshop, we will share memories of lost or changing spaces, sketch what they meant to us, and imagine new forms of common ground – physical, emotional, and speculative. Through drawing, writing and informal discussion, we’ll co-create a zine or illustrated journal that gathers our ideas, gestures and memories – offering not just a record, but a proposition for how we might create space differently, together.
The workshop is hosted by artist and curator Ade Darmawan, with support from the ‘Young Artist-in-Residence@V54’ project of Po Leung Kuk.
Experience level: No prior experience is required. Open to all but of particular interest to art students and young creatives.
Materials: All tools and materials are provided
Language: English with informal Cantonese interpretation
