Roundabout Festive Macramé Workshop

Looking for a gift for a loved one or an ornament to decorate your home this holiday season? Join this making workshop to create your own textile ornament for the festivities!

In this workshop led by Hong Kong artist Ma Wing Man, participants will learn a variety of macramé knotting techniques to create a mini Christmas tree using repurposed textile materials. The workshop will begin with a sharing by Ma on her work of inspiration on view, Roundabout, which celebrates the creative energy of communal making and themes of sustainability.

Experience Level: Age 12 or above with no prior experience required
Materials: All materials are provided
Language: Cantonese with informal English interpretation

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
