Punch Needle Tapestry Experience

CHAT’s community programme Seed to Textile artist Eastman Cheng and community partners from Tsuen Wan created large-scale tapestries with needle punching embroidery, utilising yarns hand-dyed with natural materials. The community partners, who are a group of women new to the city, will transform into tutors and share the techniques and joy of needle punching. Come join us for a free walk-in experience at CHAT Lounge!

Experience level: All are welcome, no prior experience necessary

Materials needed: All materials will be provided

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
