Hong Kong Branch Weaving Workshop
In Seed to Textile 2025, Hong Kong artist Sara Tse takes us on a journey to rediscover memories and stories through the embrace of nature, exploring the intricate connections between botanical and human heritage.
In this artist-led workshop, you will weave together fabrics printed with vintage cyanotype images of Hong Kong and local tree branches using local fibres and naturally dyed yarn. Your work will become a part of Tse’s large-scale installation, which will be featured in a performative showcase in January next year. Let your creativity flow and co-create a meaningful textile art piece with us!
The deposit will be refunded in full upon attendance.
Language: Cantonese
Experience level: No prior experience is needed. Suitable for participants aged 12 and above.
