CNY Screen Printed Tote Bag
Gung Hei Fat Choi! Come play with a range of Lunar New Year inspired motifs at CHAT Studio.
In this workshop, participants will learn to use screen printing techniques and tricks to create their own textile print. Participants can choose from a range of screen printing motifs and ink colours to create their own unique layered design. After printing the textile, each participant will learn to sew the piece into a basic tote bag to showcase their creativity while carrying essentials around.
Join us to play with oranges, fragrant peonies, Chinese knots, auspicious clouds and textures to welcome the year of the dragon, making magic with your own hands.
Experience level: This activity is better suited for participants with some screen printing experience but welcomes beginners as well. Suitable for participants aged 16 or above.
Materials: CHAT will provide all materials.
