Make Your Own: Masks with Nuno Textiles

Join CHAT’s Textile Programmes team to learn how to make your own decorative fabric masks using Nuno textiles!

Designed by CHAT’s Sewing Team and using textiles from renowned Japanese textile brand Nuno, these masks are a fun accessory to wear over your surgical mask while expressing your creative self. Participants can pick from the many fabric options at CHAT Lab to stitch a personalised, colourful mask using hand stitching and embroidery techniques, along with unique trims and embellishments.

Materials Needed: All materials included. Participants will take home one finished mask and an extra DIY pack, which contains fabric for one mask, elastics, needles and thread.

Experience Level: Suitable for participants aged 8 or above. Participants aged 8 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This activity is better suited for participants with some stitching experience but suitable for beginners as well.

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
