Curator Tour of Absolute Blue: BUAISOU Works with Japanese Natural Indigo

BUAISOU is a craft collective based in Japan that works with natural indigo dye. Though adopting traditional Japanese indigo dyeing techniques, they are also opened to communicating with contemporary audiences and have collaborated widely with international brands, designers and contemporary artists.

Join CHAT’s chief curator Takahashi Mizuki for a guided tour of BUAISOU’s current solo exhibition, where she will offer insights into the works on view. Through this tour, participants can discover more about the exhibition’s curatorial concepts and BUAISOU’s working process.

This tour will be conducted in English and is open to all.
Deposit will be refunded in full upon attending the programme.

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
