YEUNG Chin
Born in Hong Kong and based in London, Yeung Chin’s creative practise uses fashion, embroidery and natural dye as main mediums. He integrates multimedia elements into his creation, consistently exploring the intersections of fashion with sound, performing art and sustainable development.
Yeung holds an MA in Fashion Design from the University of Westminster. He worked for numerous fashion brands and designed stage costumes for City Contemporary Dance Company.
Yeung’s collection was presented at fashion weeks in Tokyo, New York, Milan and Shanghai and exhibited extensively including Chi K11 Art Space (2019), Singapore Design Centre (2015), Asia Society Gallery (2013) and Hong Kong Heritage Museum (2013). He was awarded with Social Innovation for Sustainable Communities from Hong Kong University (2022) and YDC Special Mention Award from the Hong Kong Design Centre (2009). Yeung currently works as guest lecturer at Hong Kong Design Institute and operates his eponymous fashion brand.
