WONG Sui Lun Alan
Wong Sui Lun Alan is a Hong Kong-based multimedia choreographer and performing artist whose work spans commercial and independent sectors. His practice fuses diverse performance media, such as Chinese opera, theatre, ballet, environmental dance and video imagery, to explore cross-disciplinary artistic expressions.
A graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, specialising in Chinese dance, Wong received the MTR Corporation’s Outstanding Dance Performance Award, the Dean’s Prize of the School of Dance, and the Grantham Scholarship. He created Baijia Bu, a dance theatre piece themed around Eastern philosophy. Beyond choreography, he extends his practice to video, photography and animation. His work has been presented in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Beijing, Taiwan, the UK, Rome, Florence and Naples.
Since 2022, Wong has been collaborating with Indian dance artists and BEYOND Bollywood. He is also actively involved in In Movement – Dunhuang Dance Culture Study Society to promote the preservation and innovation of Dunhuang dance.
