WONG Sui Lun Alan
Born and work in Hong Kong, Alan Wong is a choreographer and multimedia dance artist whose practice spans both commercial and independent performing arts.
Wong graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a major in Chinese dance, he created Patchwork, a work exploring Eastern philosophical thoughts. Wong’s practices fusing diverse performance media, including Chinese opera, theatre, ballet, site-specific dance and multimedia.
Beyond choreography, Wong produces dance-related works through video, photography, and animation, including EMPTY Our, Walkalator, Less Smilier, ME, Hong Kong Space Limited, and Yellow Ball. His works have been exhibited in various film and video festivals across Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Beijing, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Rome, Florence, Naples, and beyond.
