Erica LAI

Erica Lai serves as Assistant Director of Programmes at Singapore Art Museum, where she oversees the development and implementation of the museum’s public, curatorial and access programmes, fostering thoughtful engagement with contemporary art for diverse communities. Prior to her current role, she led the Curatorial Programmes team at National Gallery Singapore, where she was also a founding member of its Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) taskforce, contributing to the development of museum-wide policies and educational initiatives. A practising artist and educator, Lai served as Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts before joining the museum sector.
