Suad GARA

Suad Gara is a British-Azerbaijani filmmaker and art curator. She has made three shorts and is currently working on her debut feature, Hotel Diana, with the British Film Institute. The project was selected for WEMW Co-Production Forum, where it won the Pop-Up Film Residency Award, and for the Less Is More script lab by Le Groupe Ouest in 2023. Before embarking on this journey in 2020, Suad was the chief curator and artistic director of YARAT Contemporary Art Space in Baku, Azerbaijan. She has also curated independent projects for Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, MAMbo Bologna and the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zurich. Before then she was a specialist at Sotheby’s London.

Gara holds an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MLitt in Modern and Contemporary Art from the University of Glasgow. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Literary, Visual and Musical Thought at the European Graduate School.

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
