Komunitas KAHE
The interdisciplinary collective Komunitas KAHE was established in Maumere in Flores in 2015. They see art and culture as the paradigm and mode of study of the people in Flores, which are constantly reflecting the world’s situation. Managing with the spirit and framework of a collegial collective, Komunitas KAHE consists of artists, journalists, writers, students, researchers and teachers from a variety of practices and scientific disciplines. Komunitas KAHE actively carries out capacity building activities for its members, initiates artistic projects in the fields of theatre, music and visual arts, and develops research platforms, studies, publications and archives by involving the surrounding ecosystem network. The works of Komunitas KAHE are presented to the public through an artistic encounter approach, which seeks conversations and exchanges among participants in specific forums.
