Himali Singh SOIN
Himali Singh Soin is a writer and artist based between London and Delhi. She uses metaphors from outer space and the natural environment to construct imaginary cosmologies of interferences and entanglements. In doing this, she thinks through ecological loss and the loss of home, seeking shelter somewhere in the radicality of love.
She has recently been featured at the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai (2025); Tate Britain (2025) and Somerset House, London (2025); the Art Institute of Chicago (2022); and Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid (2022). Her work has also appeared in biennials and group shows at numerous institutions, such as Sharjah Biennial (2025); Bukhara Biennial (2025); Serpentine, London (2025); Hayward Galleries, London (2023); Desert X, California (2023); Biennale Gherdeina (2022); Shanghai Biennale (2021); and Haus der Kunst, Munich (2022). She received the 2019 Frieze award and was the inaugural fellow of the Getty Award for the Photosynthesis residency.
