Agus Nur Amal PM Toh

Agus Nur Amal, also known as PM Toh, was born in 1969 in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. As a storyteller, he uses everyday objects and imaginative theatrical methods to create interactive performances. His work often draws on mythology and real-life challenges such as social issues, natural disasters and climate change.

Agus received his diploma and bachelor’s degree from the Jakarta Institute of Arts in 1990 and 2000 respectively, and his theatrical journey began in 1992. Since 2003, he has been working with Komunitas Tikar Pandan on trauma healing and peace building in Banda Aceh. In 2005, he started staging the live show TV Eng Ong to comfort those affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami; the show was later broadcast nationally. Over three decades, Agus has presented more than 700 shows. His work has been featured at the Pinacoteca, Sao Paulo (2026); Haus der Kunst, Munich (2025); Jeju Biennale (2024); documenta fifteen (2022) and other international exhibitions.

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
