Neesha JHAVERI
Neesha Jhaveri has been in the field of Indian classical dance Kathak since last 4 decades. A graceful Kathak dancer, accomplished teacher, creative choreographer and founder of Sri Shakti Academy, Jhaveri has trained a number of students under her academy. A recipient of the National Scholarship from the Government of India and a graded artist at Doordarshan, she and her students have performed at various dance festivals in India, Africa, America, China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Kathak is a North Indian classical dance rooted in temple storytelling, known for its mathematical precision, grace, softness, and profound depth.
