Gulnur Mukazhanova: Dowry of the Soul

Kazakh contemporary artist Gulnur Mukazhanova combines Central Asian felt-making traditions with diverse media to explore the interplay between ancient textile practices and contemporary issues. Dowry of the Soul marked the artist’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, bringing together a dynamic selection of works from across her career, including felt paintings, sculptures, patchwork installations, photography and video.
