Exploring the medium of weaving as seen in the woven mats (tikar) in CHAT’s Summer Programme 2021 Yee I-Lann: Until We Hug Again, the CHAT Textile Programmes team has developed a simple weaving kit, namely Weave-Your-Bag Kit. The kit introduces makers to the basics of weaving. Using this kit, makers age 7 and up can follow our step-by-step instructions and tutorial video to make their very own CHAT exclusive woven bag.

Materials include:
– 1 piece of laser-cut felt
– 3 rolls of string
– 1 metal cord threader
– 1 step-by-step instruction sheet with a QR code to the tutorial video
