Have you ever thought about the aroma of indigo? Since 2019, CHAT has been developing the ongoing community programme Seed to Textile, exploring ways to grow indigo in Hong Kong with a diverse community and integrating it into art-making processes.

To further discover the possibilities of indigo, CHAT collaborates with the local incense-making studio, okapi studio, to create a unique product by upcycling the branches of in-house grown indigo (Indigofera tinctoria). This incense blends indigo branches with natural aromatic ingredients to transform indigo into an aromatic experience. Light the incense on the seashell incense holder, relax in the fragrance, and let indigo become a part of your day-to-day life.
