CHANG En-Man

Born in Taitung, Chang En-Man currently works and lives in Taipei. Utilising moving image, photography, installation, and self-organised and collective projects, Chang explores how the indigenous people of Taiwan negotiate the ever-shifting socio-cultural terrains and conditions for survival in contemporary Taiwan. Set against the backdrop of modernisation and urbanisation, her practice is rooted in her own experience and heritage as a half-indigenous person. With this point of departure, Chang excavates lost histories and narratives to explore the world at large, aiming to embody the transformative potential that art holds.

Chang has had solo exhibitions in Taipei (2012), Vancouver (2016) and Los Angeles (2017); and group shows in Thailand (2014), Milan (2015), Auckland (2016), Poland (2017) and Hong Kong (2020). She has exhibited in major projects such as the Taipei Biennial (2014), Taiwan Biennial (2018), Istanbul Biennial (2019), Cosmopolis #2 at Centre Pompidou (2019), Singapore Biennale (2019), Kathmandu Triennale (2022) and documenta fifteen (2022).

Ticketing Arrangements on Weekends and Public Holidays

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, CHAT will implement timed admission arrangements on weekends and public holidays until further notice.

Free Ticket distribution begins 30 minutes before each session outside CHAT Shop (G01A). Each person may collect up to 4 tickets. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

Visiting sessions and ticket distribution times are as follows:

1️⃣ 11:00am – 12:45pm
Distribution starts at 10:30am

2️⃣ 1:00pm – 2:45pm
Distribution starts at 12:30pm

3️⃣ 3:00pm – 4:45pm
Distribution starts at 2:30pm

4️⃣ 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Distribution starts at 4:30pm
