Artist Hu Yinping’s ongoing project ‘Hu Xiaofang’ invites women from rural Chinese communities to create art through knitting. In collaboration with Hu, CHAT presents two limited edition bag designs for the exhibition Threading Inwards. Each shoulder bagfeatures a cloud or eye motif handcrafted by a different woman and is truly one of a kind. In Chinese culture, clouds symbolise good luck and a connection between the human world and the heavens, while the eye is seen as the window to the soul.

Only 100 bags are available – all made with heart and soul.
